The Korpes Identity – September Update

Things on the homestead are good, and I hope the Universe is treating you all kindly as well.

No joke! I’ve just finished the first half of the book (finished as in final edits – nothing else will be changed), and I’m actively writing the linking material between the set pieces for the last half. It’s only taken me seven years; thank you all for your patience.

As I was continuity checking something I referenced from book one, I remembered a funny scene in the old version of book three (which was technically merged in with books one and two in a massive tome). Time for a Rabbit Hole adventure said Jenn. It took me about an hour to find the drive it was on. I haven’t looked at it since 2017, but after some careful skimming, I located the section and it made me laugh all over again. The original title for The Korpes Identity was Into The Seep, and I have certainly kept the Spirit of that alive in this new manuscript. It’s fun to see how much has evolved, and how much I’ve improved as an author.

After The Korpes Identity is published and the dust clears, I’ll release my Murder Board Sketchy-book to those in the the All The Potential Somethings Tier. It will include some of the original (but were cut/fell out of the plot/a character refused to sign the waiver) scenes from the big proto-book. They’re the darlings I simply can’t kill. I think you’ll enjoy them as out-takes and bloopers.

Two stylized male characters standing together, one in a lab coat and the other in a casual coat, engaged in conversation while looking at a smartphone.

The figures in the animated image above were created using Hero Forge, and yes, it’s a character teaser from The Korpes Identity. One is certainly Nash… but which one, and who is the other? Guesses welcome.

That’s all for the moment. Cheers, all.

Jenn
