Panic was theirs. Got burned. Fools.
The dragon exhaled. “Roasted thieves. Yum.”

Or a shot of good whiskey.
Make that a barrel…or two
To aid digestion… Thieves are tough.
Do dragons have such sensitive stomachs?
Oh no he cried, too late!
