Nope – just super busy with projects.
Few will use second person narrative.
He stood admiring the Christmas tree.
He stood there pondering in silence.
The general said, “Sound the retreat.”
😀 Awesome.
Naively I lived and breathed; besotted.
Then realising my devotion went unrequited.
Reality solidified; the scales fell away.
And I left before you did.
That’s beautiful. It made me cry.
You were the reason I quit.
For better or for worse, right?
My thoughts left my body already.
